Does this use the same .45 I feed my Colt 1911? .45 ACP?!?

I overheard some fellows talking about how they had to use a "different" .45 for their wheel gun, and I also read about the Uberti Schofields using a special .45 round that was way more expensive.

Just want to be sure I buy the right ammo. Sorry for the nit-wit question.

You want to use .45Colt, often referred to as "Long Colt."  .45 ACP is much shorter and the cartridge doesn't have the rim needed to hold the bullet in the cylinder.

What he said.  You can get a .45 ACP cylinder for the Vaquero though, but I'm not sure how hard they are to come by these days.
