Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Roto forge barrels, opinions on usage

Anybody have any input on the Roto forge barrels that Sarco and others sell for the 1911? I'm currently using one and have no complaints after about 500rounds.

I have what I think may be one installed in a beater 1911 I built a couple years back.   For the money it seems functional enough.  It isn't what I'd call impressively accurate, however.

I think for the money they can't be beat. Considering what most people charge for a barrel and installation if it is not a true drop-in.  The two I have I must admit they are not 1 hole guns but then again I would'nt want to be on the down range end of them.
