I am going to order the older style (checkered) grips for my newer (pebble grip) P226, as I think they are alot easier to hold on to.  But am also looking to get away from the pebble type grips on my 228 and 229.  Is there a better aftermarket grip out there?  I don't like the stickiness associated with the Hogue rubber grips, but like that fact that I can hand onto them.

What is your favorite aftermarket grip, why?

thanks

Be sure to check out the Hogue Wood grips. They work very well.
