Whats a good 22lr round for a Walther P22?  I've heard that they are picky.
Thanks

Due to manufacturing tolerances, they may each have their own "personalities".
You may have to try a box of each assorted brands to find what is reliable and accurate.
CCI mini mags are a good starting point, avoiding hollowpoints and bargain brands, at least initially.
When I find a load my .22's like, I spring for a brick (500), if not more and avoid sighting in all over again.

Try a few... as mentioned, .22s can be picky.

My Browning Buckmark won't cycle with standard velocity, but it's decent with Federal Lightening.

Good thing is, .22 ammo is relatively cheap.  Find what works for you!

anothergene hit it on the head!
Try different flavors a box at a time...
however, I'd recommend you focus
on hi-velocity ammo as I've personally found that my semi-auto .22's (Mk-1/Mk-2's, Buckmark, CZ Kadet, 92FS Ciener & Trailside)
prefer that end of the power spectrum.

Each gun is different so have fun experimenting!
