Does anyone have experience with the refurbished guns that SIG Sauer sells.
Good or bad I am interested. Thanks.

I have a p226 with the stamped slide. I paid $400 for it, and it looked almost new. IT has been flawless in 1500+ rounds.

I've shot them. All their owners were very happy with the price savings.

Yes, with a few. They can't be beat considering the savings involved.

Do you all know what all goes into the refurbishing process? I have been looking at Sigs but recently decided I think I might go with another gun on account of their retail pricing (like an XD)..but would love to reconsider if I could rely on a refurbished Sig with a price around or below $500.

Would a refurbished model be as reliable as its brand new couterpart?

I think they replace most of the springs if not all of them.

Some lucky ones will come with new Nitron finish. And they all carry with them the 1 year warranty.
