I just got a paclite upper with rail for my old mark II and would like to find a decent red dot for it.  I really like the Burris Fastfires but wondering if there is anything comparable for a little less cash.  Im mainly using the gun for informal plinking/target shooting but might take it squirrel hunting once in a while.  Any ideas?

Save your money, get a fastfire and use the proper dovetail mount for the paclite barrel. I have more fun with this set up than of anything else I own.

I like that gun.  I just can't spare the cash now for a Burris.  If I can't find something cheaper I'll just save up.
I'm not normally someone that compromises on optics but I will on a not-so-serious application like this.

Primary Arms has a nice one for $80.Just put one on my Ruger about a month ago and so far I'm liking it.Not an aimpoint but hey it's only $80,00
Thinking about getting another for my old Buckmark.

I've had very good luck with the Bushnell TRS 25. Excellent battery life as I've had one turned one since July of 2014 at level 3.

They go for around $80.

They're nice but three times the size.  I'll save up.

I have a VISM that came with the gun. It also has a laser. I think they are $80 and my kids love it.

Have the Primary Arms green reflex sight on my MKII and love it !!! I use the Burris dovetail mount with it. Once I acquire the green dot at my local plate shoots, it's lights out !!! Had this same sight on my AR15 and Mossberg 930 SPX with no issues.

I have a ruger 22/45 lite with a fastfire and their dove mount.  It is the one gun that comes with me anytime I go shooting.

I have on one my 22/45, I'm very pleased with it.  By far my favorite "fun gun".

Went ahead and saved up the dough for a Fastfire 3.  Glad I did-it's an awesome little sight.  Now to get it zeroed.
