Hi, I have a Model 10 heavy barrel Smith in 38 special. I bought this new back in 84. I was wondering if the clinder could be rebored for the longer 357. Since the model 13 is basicaly the same gun is this something that could be done with resonable cost? BobK

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!!

The Model 10 was heat treated to handle the .38 Special. It would NOT be safe to fire .357 Magnum ammo in it.

No reputable gunsmith will do a conversion like this.

If you want more power, buy .38 Special +P ammo, or buy a .357 Magnum gun.
