[ARCHIVED THREAD] - RMR on M&P 2.0?

Hey guys, I picked up a FDE flavored M&P2.0 a month back and I have been tossing around the idea of putting an RMR on it. I'm not sure if it is possible though with the chamber indicator being so dang long. Anyone know if its possible?

Machine cut or dovetail mount?
Any of the few dovetail options should work just fine, and a good gunsmith could plug the LCI slot if you mill it into the slide.

The other option is a race cut, ditching the rear sight and moving the RMR all the way back.

Is there any advantage to either of those mounts? I'm too much of a chicken to ditch the rear sight completely.

You might want to just wait for the CORE model to come out, it makes things a lot simpler
