Do you use the stock recoil spring and guide rod, or something else?  If using an aftermarket spring, what weight do you use and why?  Trying to decide what I want to use in my G20SF, I'm a 10mm newb.

If you're going to be shooting a LOT of heavy loads like Double Tap/Buffalo Bore, you might go up a couple pounds. If you're just going to sparsely shoot hot loads and mix in some plinking ammo, you'll be fine with the stock spring.

The stock recoil spring on all the Glocks is too light for my tastes.  I use a 20# recoil spring on a captured ss guide rod on my G20, G22, and G23.  The heavier slides on my G20L, G21L and G24 make up for the lighter recoil spring so I use the std one unless I'm shooting some hot or nuclear loads.

Who makes a good stainless rod?  I see there are several brands available.  Is one better than the others?  ISMI, Aro-Tek, Wolff, etc.

I've got one of each on your list and can't tell the difference between them.
