I recently saw a 1026 for sale, like new in box. Tricked out with grips, night sights, etc. Does not have old box or papers, one mag. Asking $675. I would have been happy to find a second 1076 for a fair price, which would have been well under that, but there is some major attraction here. There were only 1300 of these made and they are great shooters, perhaps better than the 1076 because of that extra 15% bbl and a bit more weight.

Has anyone seen one at a better or comparative price recently? Has anyone seen one for sale at all in the last few years?

Yup, just was shooting mine today, great fun especially as I got the palm swell grip from Numrich so it fits my hand just perfectly.
Found mine NIB here in Finland a few years back for about $700

They were asking $675 here, like new in box, but not the original box and not with papers.

I would be willing to see a 6 in front ot the price but not much more. A gun dealer is in between a private seller - he has it on consignment - and the dealer doesn't care if he sells it now or at a much later date. The seller gets a bad deal, I think.
