I saw a new one for around 295.00 - I figured that was probably about right - have you seen them significantly cheaper?  Thanks.

My local fun store has a Ruger sale, usually their prices stay good for a week or so after the sale assuming they still have it in stock.  I picked up a 5.5" 22/45 for ~240 OTD with tax.  You may need to get it shipped to you if you're not nearby.

It can really vary

About a month ago a local dealer had the same pistol I bought for $279, when I went back to get it last week they upped the price to about $320...

So I decided to hold off... then I found one about 25 miles north for the $279, so I went to the website of another dealer up there and found it for the $250 price and decided it's not going to get any cheaper than that.

This is the one I bought. Here

the 22/45 will be $319, so better than I was told before :)
