I am thinking of getting a 239 in 9mm with the short trigger to carry off duty.  I love my P220R for work but need something smaller for carry.  What do ya'll think of the 239's?

My brother-in-law got one in .40 for Christmas.  He likes it.  It's narrower than my 229.  The .40 has a single stack mag which is why it is narrower.  I presume the 9 mm is the same.  That's the only thing I don't like about 'em.

I have a 239 in both 9mm and 40S&W.  Both are excellent carry guns, shoot well, and are easily concealable.  I would recommend a 239 in either caliber, especially if you are currently carrying a full sized Sig for duty.

Excellent carry gun and a great shooter! I have it in 40. If the grip doesn't fit quite right, I highly recommend the Hogue finger grove grips.

I have one in .40/.357 with a 9mm conversion barrel on the way.  This is my favorite Sig next to the P220.  Very accurate, pointable and easy to carry.  I say go for it.

I have a 239 in .357 SIG. Great pistol, accurate and reliable.

I also have a  245. The 245 isnt all that much bigger, slightly fatter in the grip,  and you can use your 220 mags with it, although they will hang out a little. It will also work with 220 holsters.

You can get 9mm conversion barrels for the .40? Are the conversions reliable enough to carry? Who sells them?
