A used BB code 9mm from the fun store in Toledo.

Came with 3 mags, one 7 round and two 8 rounders.

It's very clean inside and out, and shows only minimal traces of being fired.

I'll do the clean and lube thing and have a range report next weekend.

I'm a happy camper at this point.

Excellent choice, you will love it.

It has the "S" connector installed so that's good, but it seems pretty dry, so I hope a good clean and lube will smooth it out a bit, along with a few hundred rounds down range.  Still the trigger is no worse than any Glock I've ever owned.

My question though is about which ammo to use for CCW.  It's either gonna be 124+P HST or 147 HST.  I suppose either will be GTG and I've had good luck with the 147 HST in my full size Nines (CZ 75B and FNX-9).  Will the short barrel favor one over the other?

No problems with 147g HST in my PPS.  Runs like a champ.

What is the "S" connector?

Like a Glock there are different trigger bar connectors that regulate trigger pull weight, S being the lightest.

After 650 rounds through my PPS, I'd say the trigger is comparable to a stock Glock's. I don't mind it.

I put just under 300 rounds through it last weekend.

Ran like a top.

It's a great little pistol, and congratulations on the new piece!

Mine has served me very well as a summer CCW. And considering the Arizona heat, that is pretty much the better half of the year. Ammo selection for CCW has been a little tricky. It used to be I carried with Remingtons Golden Saber 147gr +P HP. But over the last year or so, it's been harder and harder to find. Lately I've been using Hornady TAP, and it seems that is performing pretty well.

I've got close to 2k rounds or so in the last year or so I've owned it, and the only real problem I've had was operator error. Just be careful where your firing thumb rests.

Edited for spelling

I'm using Federal 147 gr. HST standard pressure in mine.  It is accurate and fuction is 100% with it, and if you do some research in the ammo FAQ it may be the best 9mm loading for self defense work.
