Well I'm looking for a new HK handgun and I'm torn between either a P7 PSP or the newer HK 45's

I already have a USP 45 and USP 45C

I said HK45 because mine is amazing, but I also have an HK45c on my list. You can't go wrong. Good luck in your choice.

Complete the USP .45 collection, and get a USP Tactical or USP Tactical Compact. But really, I would love to have a 45C

I'm giong to say the P7 only because it's an accurate gun and will become more expensive as time goes on.

P7 PSP.  Be careful though, they multiply.

I just picked up an HK45C with LEM trigger.

It instantly became my favorite pistol, replacing G19 as carry gun, and relegating Sig P226 and a built 1911 to safe queen status.

The only downside is that the pistol is now away, awaiting install of Heinie Straight 8s, which seem to be on some indefinite backorder....

The HK45C is a very, very nice shooting pistol.

So by the end of August I might as well order a 45c and on the way home pick up some pie.

I had the same question and went P7.

There are no more P7 being made, more HK45's are being made.

No brainer.

For CCW get the HK45c. If not for CCW get the HK45.

You have .45s and the HK45 will be around for a very long time.  If you want a P7 they are not going to get cheaper nor is the quality going to get any better than what is out there right now.  As time goes on only the B and C grade guns are going to be left and the price of a C gun will be as high as a grade A gun is now.  Snooze you lose so if you want a P7 get it while the getting is good, or at least OK.  Most of the really nice NIB looking pistols are already gone and the current grade A pistols I have seen would have been grade B pistols only three years ago.  The HK45, it's not going anywhere.

Yup, the P7 is the obvious choice to me. Get them while you can still pay less than they are worth.
