not a bad deal, for me the extra $90 is worth piece of mind in a new gun.

if not hicap not worth it unless you dont mind the 10rds

Ive been shopping for another g19 myself and best price is about $490 as well, can order online for $450 with 3 mags but shipping and transfer fees, plus background fee would end up costing me more.

being that its a pawn shop gun you know he has no where near $440 invested throw $350 cash on the counter and see what he says, can always throw in another $50 if want

 Ok, there's a gun show in Conroe this weekend.  If the large dealers from DFW are there, a new 19 is $449.95, with regular sights.  Sometimes (rarely) they will have police trade-in 19s for about $330-$370 with 1 magazine.

 You might want to try the Texas Hometown Forum and see who all is planning on going to the show.  They'll point you in the right direction and help you steer clear of the not so good dealers.

www.summitgunbroker.com has used police trade in's for as low as $359-$365  plus tax for used 3rd generation g17 and g 22, and I know of one guy who I told the website too and shipping was about $18 from here in Missouri to Texas.  I don't know if how much g19's are though, hope this helps.

Really, comaparing prices and shipping the other deal might come out better depending on transfer fees and everthing else, but have good prices on police trade in's
