I'll get flamed for this.
Quality control on Paras is entirely too hit and miss. Hi-cap .45ACPs arent generally very reliable either, the HK USP45 being an EXTREME exception to that statement. Tell him to go that route. |

There are better guns out there. Para's don't do much for me, never did. They are not the most highly regarded hicap .45's, that much I can tell you. Not that they're awful, either.
USP, S&W 99, Glock, all would be better choices IMO. |

Do a Colt/Springfield/Kimber single stack & carry an extra mag or two, IMO. No free lunch on a wide body that I can see.
