I`ve broken 2 firing pins in less than 500 rounds.  Both have broken while at the range.
Taurus has the lifetime repair policy but a new firing pin costs less then the shipping to Taurus so I fixed it myself the first time.
Is this a common problem on this model?  If I`m going to have to buy a new firing pin every 500 rounds I`m going to get rid of it.

I WAS wanting to pick one of these up until I was warned not to. Now that I've read up a bit on Taurus I'll never buy any of their guns.

Never had any problem with mine.
