I have read a few reviews of the PT1911 that claim the gun has a beveled magazine well, but to be honest I have a PT1911 DT and I just don't see it.   I have shot a few guns with a beveled magazine well and they all seem to have had a more exagerated well than the PT1911.

Thoughts anyone?  I was thinking of sending it into a gunsmith to get a real beveled well.

It has a slight bevel to it, not really a competition magwell. It's enough to DQ it for the shooting competition I wanted to try out with the stock category.

The bevel suits my needs. The PT1911 is a solid 45acp IMHO.

There is a big difference in a concealable beveled mag well and a full out competition mag well
vs.
