these is the only 2 DW1911 avaliable in CA, i know they both good 1911, i have no way to try it unless i buy it,  which one should i get? or any other choose within my budget( no TRP, i had one but i don't like the grip), they both in stainless steel and they shop ask $1450 plus tax and DROS for each

Isn't there a workaound to the approved list?  Something about the one shot exception, and putting a goofy upper on a pistol thatis not approved.

Either way, both are nice, but some do not like the bobtail grip.  If it were me though, id have the bobtail.

If it's a 2010-11 manufactured C-Bob, go for it.  Other than the finish they are identical to the V-Bob.  but 2009 or earlier, do the one shot exception workaround and get the V-Bob for pretty much the same money as it's twice the gun compared to the earlier C-Bobs.
