So...i was looking at night sights (which i view as crucial to a defensive pistol) and noticed that both the Meprolight and Trijicon units are supposedly "fixed".  Is this true?  Is there any way to drift them for impact?  I would hate to have completely unadjustable sights...
Thanks

"Fixed" usually means you can drift them for windage.  For example Glock, Sig, M1911, Browning HP, Beretta, S&W, and nearly every semi-auto handgun I can think of with "fixed sights" are actually adjustable if you want to drift the sight left or right.  I'm pretty sure this is what they're referring to.

My P99 has factory night sights and they are actually adjustable, with a screw, for windage.  Just get your P99 with factory night sights and you'll be set.
