Anyone own these? I can't see any topics here on them. I was looking at a Kahr .45 and then found that Ruger made one too.
I like that it is similar to a 1911 ergonomically but built from polymer.

How is the DA trigger? I don't mind long travel/creep, I just like smooth DA triggers and nor crunchy ones.

Info on real world experiences would be appreciated.

Saw good vids on it on You Tube, but would appreciate info here. Thanks!

I would look at either Ruger Fourm (.com and .net) for additional information.

I went out and got a 2004 P-97DC because I did not like the issues the P-345 had regarding the magazine safety and dry firing, when it first came out.

had one zero ftf or fte with about 600-800 rounds through it.
got it in a trade and then traded it for something more compact.
rounded edges and rounded nose on it make it excellent for iwb carry and drawing it from iwb
but in the end its a big fullsize .45 and I was looking for something smaller
traded it for a new lc9 which I sold as well
have a kahr cw45 now and looking for a pm45

would have made a excellent bedside gun with rail mounted light on it.
one of those regret getting ride of it type guns...

I carried one IWB for a year or so. I liked the fit in my hand, it is not a large frame, and it felt light too me. Sites could be better, but I didn't want to invest the money in it.

First trigger pull seemed long to me, but I got used to it.

I put hundreds of rounds through it and it always went bang when it was supposed to.

I recently sold it to a friend. It is his first semi-auto. Man, I miss that gun.

I heard these pistols do not have metal in the frame where the slide and frame contact?  Is this true?  If so, that would bother me.

That is correct. The P-95, P-97, and P-345 use a cam lock as part of the FLSG for lock up. The frame rails are there to keep the slide on the frame and not for tight lock-up.

As long as you do not throw the pistol onto the ground, or pistol whip someone, this really is not an issue.
