At last!

I found another p245!  I traded my last one towards a Kimber Pro CDP II about 7 years ago.  I don't regret getting the Kimber, but damn, I missed that 245.

I am out of town training and did my usual 'googling' for local gun shops.  I found one at an out of the way place (Whitetail Outfitters) near Christiansburg, Va.
They had $570 on it, but the guy helping immediately knocked it down to $550 and knocked a buck off a box of ammo.

Has anyone had any FIRST HAND experience with leather holsters for the 245s?  Searching online I found a bunch of guys stating that the 245 will
fit in the 'new' 220 compact holsters, as well as regular 220 holsters.  But I couldn't find anyone who could say that they had personally tried it.

It seems like the only manufacturers making such holsters are the custom guys, and I can't afford to drop $180 on a holster anytime soon.  I'm really interested
in leather inside the waistband holsters, but so far not a lot of luck.

my P245 fits in all my P220 holsters with varying success...of course it will have space as most P220 holsters will be longer...
I have a Safariland paddle...Bruce Nelson Professional (55BN, Straight drop Scabbard, Askin's Avenger type), even my Kramer scabbard for a P228 fits theP245 just not snug (not loose, just not tight)...also fits but seems tight in my Blackhawk! SERPA...but it fits that way with my 1994 vintage P220 as well...

Gotcha.  Thanks for the input.  I ordered a fairly inexpensive ($50) leather IWB off of ebay for a 220 compact.  I'll keep looking here on the EE for a good 220 holster deal!

My son carries his CCW P245 in a CompTac MTAC and it works very well.

I ordered a crossbreed holster last week.....I had looked at the comptac holsters as well though.  If I recall correctly they were similar in construction.
