Dec 83' as I was home from Basic/AIT I had a choice to make, Stainless Steel Randall 1911A1 or a Electroless Nickeled P7 PSP.  I went with the P7, kept it for couple decades before trading it to my best friend for a Browning 1886.

Very Nice. I've had a similar setup on a .40 USP for quite awhile. My lens doesn't quite sit out that far though, and both the light and laser lenses need cleaning after I shoot. I wonder if we could put a stock tactical threaded barrel on these, to add a brake to keep the powder off our lenses?

Any info on the extended barrel? I've never seen that on a P2000 before. Thanks.

I have an X300u-b on my 45 tactical and it also gets carbon on the lens. I just occasionally rub some toothpaste on it and it clears it right up. Best trick I have found for it. Im waiting on a form 4 to clear to prevent future carbon on the lens. Haha

Canadian law requires pistols to be 106mm or more (any shorter and it's classed as prohibited), so compacts end up with an extended barrel.

I'm assuming that's a mechanical safety. A variant required by certain countries, in this case Mexico? If so, that's kind of ironic.. especially on a P7.  Beautiful piece, congratulations! And that serial! @Clausewitz

It's a 9.

Haha, I never thought about the binary angle.  It's from the Matrix!

Yes, the Mexican government requested the safety, which is rather silly on a P7.

The manual safety acts directly on the trigger, as opposed to the cocking lever which acts on the firing pin.

I'm glad y'all like it!

Clausewitz, that is amazing.

Swapped out the sights on my P2000, I think a TLR-1 will be next, and then start looking around for a new holster.

P30S
Match weight compensator
Nickel plated sear spring
Light trigger return, firing pin, and hammer springs
+3 mag extensions

I'll be ordering a threaded barrel once my form 4's finally clear.

Congrats! The .40 USP was my first HK. I still love the way it fits and shoots.
Will it hold the same number of 10's?

Depends on the mags. The STI 2011 mags sound like the ones to use, I'm planning on the 18 round version combined with the Jet Funnel. I will likely attempt to cut and weld the bottom of the mag to sit flush with the jet funnel which may reduce capacity a round or two. Not many have done 10mm conversions lately. I didn't buy it with the intention of making it a 10mm but I'd like the option of converting it, as the G20 didn't work out for me and I want something with more capacity than my 10mm 1911.
