I'm not sure if its real or not but i've heard of a .444 pistol before.. not a revolver but a single shot.

I still like my "primitive" 645. Why? Its Stainless, a .45, adjustable sighted, mag well factory beveled, DA, removable grips...wood or plastic, no 7 round mags to bother with and it looks like a 9MM on steroids. The fact that is is accurate helps too. AND I wasn't sleeping!  I went shooting! (G-22, SA series '90, Colt gold cup)

I favor my Casull over my other Revolvers as it allows me to leave the rifles home which frees my hands up to do chores or to FISH.

Well, it qualifies as a handcannon, but it's caliber is hardly so.  Mine is my T/C contender with 10" octogon barrel, in .218bee.  Only puts a 45gr bullet at 2500fps, but it does wonders on rock chucks!  My dad couldn't believe how reactive they were to the bee's sting at @80-120yds!  I have to admit it was impressive.  I wish I was a better shot at long range(out to 200yds) with it.  I just haven't mastered the positions yet, especially in the field.

I've been thinking about getting a Desert Eagle .50 AE for my next pistol.. damn things cost too much.. I won't get any gold, platinum, or chrome ghetto looking DE.. gonna be black or like a matte steel

S&W 625 45ACP with full moonclips.
Fast reloads and a lot of fun to shoot.
I think that it would take "45 Super" class
reloads if you wanted more power.
I prefer lighter loads an lots of shooting.
I shoot USPSA mostly and a little IDPA

I like my Dan Wesson .357 Maximum

shooting club liked it too, shooting paper and steel with HOT loads, big jet of fire out the end (powder 296) and a 125gr hollowpoint, broke one steel. great gun, gave me a slight flinch for awhile though, grip is not so good. But it is sure fun

It's hard to beat a Super Blackhawk .44 mag for me.

I wouldn't carry one. I don't own one anymore, but they are definitely a controllable hand cannon imho.....

Did anyone read the tests with the pistols vs. the .500 nitro express rifle? Am Handgunner I think...or Shooting TImes

The .500 linebaugh actually out penetrated the damn elephant gun! I was flabbergasted!
