If you don't have a 9mm, I can't think of a better way to go than the XD9. Get both!

I went ahead and bought the all black .40... AND I convinced my wife she needed one in 9mm. Maybe in another month or so I will pick it up for "her"

yup, try finding an xd40 bi-tone. its like looking for a 24 year old virgin.

I have an XD40 Service Model. I would get the XD9 in subcompact for concealed carry and shooting ammo fun. So, In other words, get both!
