Gentlemen,
I have become a proud owner of an alloy P12.
First, are 1911 parts interchangeable, ex.
beavertail grip safety, oversize slide release?
Second, source for mags and what are they going for? Thanks.

Some parts are interchangeable, others are not. Triggers are not, for example. Safeties and slide releases are. You still will have to do some fitting, which is normal for any 1911.
Mags seem to have gotten a little cheaper of late - not sure why. I've seen new hicap factory mags for $49 in the last few days. Try a search for Para-Ordnance at www.gunbroker.com. Plenty of stuff there.

I just bought 2 Factory new hi caps for my P14.45 for $39.95 each! Thought it was fishy and ordered only one. It was the real deal.
