Now i just bought a new glock 17 gen 4 and had a chance to shoot it the other day, probably 200 rounds, I lost count how many brass-to-the-face there was..and the girlfriend did'nt want to shoot it anymore..lol.Also while she was shooting it it had 3 failure to ejects. None with me, not sure if it was just her or the gun.
Now i shot different ammo threw it and all seemed to do the same stuff.

I am wondering what date and part numbers i need to look for , as i have read that they have since sent out replacement extractors, recoil springs and? to help fix this.

Some help would be great i love my 19 and had a gen 4 g26 also but that thing was constant brass to the face.

I bet the FTF was her limp wristing it. my guess. I hear all this brass to the face issues I have never had that issue. I don't know if its where I shoot left handed.

Do a search of brass and face.  That should get you started.

iirc you want the 30274(?) ejector instead of the 336. This may or may not be the reason...

When did yours get test fired? Some say later made guns are fixed...

What gr weight ammo did you use?  Some say lighter grain bullets cause more problems.

Why so vague in answers?  Because noone really knows why some guns do it or not.

Some guys point the finger at poorly cut and finished slides FWIW
