As cheap as they are I may get one just to satisfy my curiosity. They feel WAY better in the hand than the glock.

The people I know that have them really like them. For $325 or so NIB, they're a great buy for the money, IMO.

I keep watching for someone that has one to say what they are like after 1000 or so. If they are good I might get one for each of my boys for in the future. I am also watching the Taraus 24/7 .45.

AS am I, it too was a promising looking pistol with a nice, more upright grip angle. It's thumbsafety was ver nice and easy to use and the DAO was not bad.

I had one of the first gen Sigmas and it was absolute garbage. Wouldn't feed worth a damn. With my gunsmithing skills now I might massage it and get it to work, but back then I was a noob and all I knew was that I couldn't shoot ten shots before it got "stuck" again.

They might have corrected the issue with the second generation models, but with police trade-in Glock 22s running $375, why bother with the knock-off?

I agree with everything said here.

I personaly decided to go with a Tarause or a witness. You get more caliber choices with a witness also.

This may seem like a stupid question, but you can just take it to a gunsmith, can't you?

At least, that's what I'm hoping. I've got one and the trigger's the only thing I don't like about it.

From what I have read on another board you can have the Sigma Triggers made lighter, supposedly down to 5.25 lbs.

Though I have never met or used his services, I have seen "Daniel" mentioned elsewere for such trigger work:

Hopefully this can improve things for you.
