Total bummer. First time out shooting it.

Holding at the 6'oclock at 25 yards it is 4 inches high and 2.5 inches to the left.

That is after shooting 15 rounds into the target that I am sending in with the pistol.

I shot a total of 32 rounds all of which did the same.

My Springfield loaded didn't shoot to point of aim either, sent it back, now its poa =poi.

They will fix it.

It went out yesterday, they said that I would have it back in two weeks.

I know this is off topic, but any leads on where I might find a TRP in stock? Lol

Dumb question... are the sights adjustable?

No, they are not.

They look like a Novak.

This is it.

I know some TRPs have Bomar style sights from the factory. Looks like you got one with fixed sights.

My old Loaded hit POA right when I got it. But its rare to get a gun and have it be perfect for you right out of the box.

I have owned 20 or 30 handguns over the years and I have found their sights pretty much usable out of the box. Hi-Powers, Glocks, S&W revolvers (except a 686 which went back), Sigs, Colt 1911s (maybe 5 of them), and the beretta 92.

When I drop down $1500 I do expect that the sights will be properly set..

I have a local gun smith install some Novak's on my Colt 1911 and took it to the range.

They were dead on.

my first trp was off 3 inches left but my 2nd one was dead on. i bought a sight pusher from brownells for 90 bucks and moved them myself and since I own several 1911s sooner or later I will need it again one day.

You buy the thing used? From what ive read, all TRP's come with wind/elev adjustable rear tritium sights. Some people just dont like them so they put on fixed ones. Mine came with adjustable ones.

But yea, either way it shouldnt be off like that. Mine shot 3" groups at 20 yds out of the box.

I bought it brand new about two weeks ago.

They still make them like this. Above is from their current website.

FYI, below is a 1.2" group from 25 yards with my S&W Model 41 22LR Target pistol.

Got it back yesterday, I'll try to get to a range soon and will post the results.
They did a very fast turn-a-round. 2 weeks.

Got back from the indoor range and I have good news, Springfield did a great job on this TRP.
This was 25 yards with Remington generic 230 gran ball ammo, nothing special at all.

First shots with it, not bad.

I threw the one high one.

This is three strings of five with the black dots covering up the first two strings. The Third string was fantastic.

I am quite happy.

My Operator was DNA out fo the box. I have no doubt anything I point that thing at is DRT.

SA will take care of you.

My TRP and Loaded are poa=poi right out of the box.

Good deal! Seems like SA would check better before they leave the factory.
However, you can not beat there customer service. Top notch!
Oh yeah, I had to send mine back for the same thing too.
