Hello,

I just picked up my new P380 and went straight to the range. I was using the black and gold Blazer FMJ 200 rnds and roughly 20 or so instances where the P380 would not go back into battery mode. Each time that happened I would smack the back of the slide and then it would engage. I also encountered roughly 3 lite primer strikes (the cartridge would not combust)

I currently own a PM9 and had the lite primer strike issue in which I sent back to Kahr to correct.... and they did. But OMG am I going to have to send the P380 back as well??

And just so you know.. Soon as I returned home I cleaned P380 and put in my primary carry ammo (Federal Hydro Shock) and flipped the lever for the slide to engage, and still had to lightly tap the butt of the slide for it to fully put the slide all the way forward as far as it would go.

I've been reading about a lot of folks having simular issues with these P380 and interested if they got them worked out.

Thanks!

My P380 is very very accurate out to 25 feet, I was pleasantly surprised.

Also I have had zero reliability issues. I use Magtech SDA

Had a PM 40 but sold it and got the P380,, PM40 was too snappy for my tastes.
