Well my LNIB Colt Government Gunsite arrived today. Nothing different from the other stock ones people have posted but I am proud to call this one mine. I have wanted one for a long time but I typically buy used so I had to be patient. I just personally don't see the need to pay more for having it first.

It is very clean and doesn't show to have been shot very much at all. It is very tight and not "loosey goosey" like some have said these were.

I am looking forward to shooting it.

But the safety is on the wrong side.

That is a nice looking Colt. Give us a range report when you get a chance to shoot it.

Damn that's pretty. My dad tells stories of going to Gunsite back in the mid-70's when Cooper would still teach classes and then everyone would go hang out at his place in the evening. I would love one of those.
