12 and 9 rounds I am going to be in on this. Any chance you guys at ETS will make a grip extension to wrap around the 9/12 mags?
FYI you have a typo on the G42 banner incase you did not notice. |
|
Neat!
Now you just need an XGRIP type doodad to go with the extended mags. |
|
I ordered mine as soon as I got the email. Can't wait to try them out.

Ordered (4) of G43 12s
Kind of expensive but i'll give then an honest review. My dog likes to listen to my reviews |

Would love to see an 8 round same length as factory mag with pinkie extension.

Picked up some of the 7 rounders , thanks ETS for the coupon also.
ETS Rep - have you tested the 7 rounders with Hyve or Taran extended basepads? |
|
ETSgroup, quick question. What did you do to prevent overinsertion of the extended mags? It looks like the bottom part of the mag may be flared out a bit but I really can't tell from the pics. If there is some sort of positive overinsertion stop, I'm up for a few of the 9 rd. Thanks.

Can you give us some rough lengths on the extended mags?
Thanks |

There are a couple of iterations of the 42 and even more iterations of the OEM 42 mags. Which versions did you test against?

I had a rough time getting the 31 round mags to work, but ETS is so awesome to deal with, I ordered 3 of the 7 round G43 mags.
Thanks for the coupon guys. I got the email but when I started to order got turned off by the shipping and tax. Seeing the coupon sealed the deal for me. I can be bought. |

Great to see these out! Curious to see folk's reviews on what ETS did to prevent premature slide lock actuation on the G42 as it took Glock two years and four magazine revisions to solve the problem. ETS had the advantage of being able to consider lessons learned in the development of the Rev 3 magazine so one would assume they should avoid the drama Glock went through!
X-grip needs to partner w/ you guys to provide a "slide-on-the-ETS-mag" grip filler. |

I just ordered 2 each of the G42 mags, thanks for the 15% code!
I like how the 7 rounders are flush, but I also like the factory Glock mags with a Peirce+1 adaptor. I can't wait to test these new mags |

I didn't find anything on your website about the warranty on the Glock mags.
Do these come with a lifetime warranty like your other mags? |

WE NEED 45 AND 10MM EXTENDED MAGS!
If I could find some reliable extended mags I would probably ditch GG mags altogether. |
|
My 7 rounders just got here. Typical ets quality just from handling them. My carry mag has a taran +1 that fits my hand perfectly. These are a little shorter than that mag but still gives my pinky something to hold on to (barely). My pinky would probably slip under recoil though. The mags insert and eject smoothly and when they eject they rocket out of the mag well. The springs are stiff and it was difficult to load 7 rounds, but I'm sure they'll lighten up with time and use. My initial impressions are good.

I ordered mine on 5/26 @ 11:42am. I find it hard to believe I wasn't one of the first to place an order. Kind of lame mine isn't moving yet. #earlyadopterproblems

I ordered mine on the 26th also and they shipped yesterday, with arrival scheduled for Monday.

I received my mags today. I hope to try them at the range this weekend.
I was was able to fit 7 rounds pretty easily. The springs are tight for sure, but no worse than new mags normally are. I had to use a loader to force the 12th round in. Hopefully those springs loosen up a bit. All inserted properly although they were tight on a closed slide and had to be pushed in pretty hard to lock up. All dropped free very well. There is a small gap at the bottom of the 7 rounders. A little disappointing, but nothing to worry about. I feel like these these are a little clearer than the last 15 round mags I got. I have some Vickers +2's on the way, so we'll see how they do. Attached File |

I bought one 7 rounder for my Glock 43 to test drive and didn't have good results. It's defective. I wanted to order a 12 rounder also but something told me to just try the one first in case of new product kinks had to be worked out.
It's abnormally hard to rack the slide back to chamber a round and feels gritty. When not all 7 rounds are in the magazine it seems to chamber a round normal like all my other magazines. And half the time a round fails to feed all the way though and jams up leaving the slide stuck open. I also noticed that when rounds are in the magazine you can put your finger on the bullet and push up barely using any pressure at all and the bullet will pop out the top of the magazine. I don't mean pushing it in the forward and up motion as if your trying to unload it. If you push put your finger on the projectile part of the bullet and push up it slips out of the magazine very easily. I have ETS magazines for my Glock 23 and 19 and neither have the above mentioned issues. Which is why I think this is probably just a bad one. I just sent an email to the customer service 'sales' email address requesting another one. *** order number 22026 **** |

Picked up a 9rnd and two 12rnd mags yesterday.
The vickers/tangodown +2 fits but was only able to get 13 in the 12rnd using the vickers base and retainer. Looked like the follower hit the base retainer or spring bound on it. Not sure when I'll get to test them. |
