Very nice.... My 10mm is Wonderfinish... Butt ugly.... Itd look REALLY nice in hardchrome I think

Mine is more of a satin finish and is not shiny at all.

Hardchrome isnt shiny... Kinda like a matte stainless finish.

I know a shop that has a chrome plated M1 carbine for sale if he wants it to go along with his 1911.

i want one shinny chrome 1911.i have a candidate ,im just hessitant because my mark 4 goverment model has a great factory colt blue job thats impecable.but ive allways wanted a shinny chrome 1911 in 38 super.

Here is my Colt Combat Commander in .45 acp in Colt's electroless nickel finish, which I assume is similar to hard chrome.

The finish when I got it was intact, just a little "yellow" and tired. I understand that is common with this finish, the elec. nickel.

Would that happen with hard chrome?

My 'smith used a wire dremel brush and gave it a little face lift and I am happy with it.

Has a McCormick rear sight, new staked front sight.

Some old Uncle Mike's rubber grips, still have the original wooden ones, too light in color for me--gots to get something more traditional!!

Wilson Combat "drop-in" beavertail grip safety--love that!!

Everything else is stock!

Hard chrome by Tripp Research. Can't say enough good stuff about them.
