I am wanting to get back into pistol shooting (recreational).  Had a beretta and between the ftf and fte and the accuracy it turned me off for awhile on pistols.  I have always wanted a 1911 and found what I think is a decent deal on a Colt 1991-A1  Government Stainless, two factory mags for $525 and has about 100 rounds through it.  The question is, is this on par with what they are going for, couldn't find any on gun broker, and/or should I just look at going a different direction.  Thanks for any input.

Sounds well in line for Colt.

Especially since new ones are now going for over $700.

Thanks for the the info.

I was looking at getting a SA Milspec SS or Loaded to get started with, but for the right price I didn't mind going a different direction.
