I've only seen these grips on RRA's 1911s and I was going to order a pair when they were still making 1911s, but I can't find them anymore and I have never been able to find out who makes them.

Even tho they won't build you a pistol. I suspect they would sell you some grips, I would give them a call.

I've checked on their website and I was unable to find any grips, or anything 1911 for that matter.

They sure are sexy- but not that rare. They look like cocobolo or maybe even light rosewood. Double diamond with borders. Try the usual suspects of 1911 grip manufacturers. The borders really make them pop.

Its the borders that I'm after.  The actual wood type is up in the air at this point.  If anyone has a link that'd be great
