I am waiting on the phone call from the Sheriff's office, telling me to come and pick up my CC permit.

In the mean time...

Here's the specs..................I am 6'1 , 170..........slim/skinny guy, high waist line.

What are some holsters that would go with my body frame? I prefer to carry on my right side. I plan to carry either my XD-40 or my Beretta M-9. Could I get away with concealing such a large frame gun as a M-9 on my side?

I really need some advice on this. I am in a panic state of mind. hinking.gif

Well, I wish I'd asked this before I started carrying.

Seriously look into the milt sparks vm-2 and watch six.  The vm-2 is the best IWB holster IMO. You can get them from lightning arms if they have them in stock, or you can order direct from sparks.

You are going to end up with a box of holsters, especially if you have more than one carry gun. I use an el cheapo Fobus for my Sig P220 quite a bit. If I am doing something more active than driving to/from work I use other holsters. If the weather is warm and I am not wearing a coat, the P220/ Fobus paddle is  not the way to go. I carry a model 60 or .442 38 special with a Barami hip grip.

The Fobus paddle holsters will not hold the gun in as tight as a pancake type holster. They are very convienent and very fast, though

If you want to avoid the " box of holsters " many of us have, consider Lou Alessi right from the start. Absolutely the finest. Point blank.

Same holster for my Walther P99 9mm and P99 .40.

Another vote for the MS Versa Max 2!!!!!   I swich over to a Mitch Rosen Padle in the winter when bulkier cloths are the norm, but the VM2 is my spring/summer/fall rig.

Here's the link to a thread I responded to... Crossbreed Holsters (www.crossbreedholsters.com) was my choice! My response is (currently) the last on the 2nd page.
