Help,

I have 2 tins of 45acp offered to me to buy. Both were unopened.
The seller told me he bought this in the early 80's and it is USGI Ball. I was suspect of this because I have been in the gun game w/ a FFL since 1981 and have NEVER seen USGI 45acp ball in a commie spam can.

Both tins are the AK type "sardine" cans , painted OD green. They are exactly the same cans that AK ammo comes in!!!
They are labeled as follows

11,43    Cartridge        Pistol

Ball        Brass Case

they came with the typical commie can opener.
There is no lot numbers , chinese or russian markings , etc.

I opened one can and found 15  lite grey boxes with no marking on them.
Each box has 50rds brass case 45acp.
The headstamps are mostly  RA 42     with a few marked WCC 42 and FA 42
The RA 42 and WCC 42 have a purple primer sealer and the FA 42 appears to have no sealer.
There are no exactor or ejector marks on any cases. I am sure it is not reloaded.

What do I have??  Repackaged WWll lent-lease ammo , Korean Nationalist Aid ammo ?
Any ideas???

I know pics would help , but do not have a digital camera.

Thanks for all help.

Perhaps to go with the Thompsons we sent over there?

Yea , Thats what I was thinking.

Is this ammo corrosive primed?

How much per round you figure its worth?

I would say it is crossively primed. Make sure to clean up good after shooting it.

If it Lent-Lease ammo would it have any historical value since it was from the Lent-Lease Act?
