Did Speer stop making the 165gr? Every website I go to is only selling 155 and 180. I need the 50rd boxes. Thanks.

That's seriously weird, I thought they discontinued the 155.

why do you need 165 only? Why not 180 or 155? Ten grains is nothing.

Just bought 100 rounds from ammotogo. Check it out. And 10 grains is definitely noticeable in my low-tech wet newspaper tests. I much prefer the 165s for their greater penetration.

Personal preference. I know I don't like the 155s. I try to stay on the higher end, with 180s being most desired.

I just bought a couple of boxes of 165 GDs at Spotsman's Warehouse a while back. I am pretty sure that Midway sells them.

Other than that, I just relaod them.

I thought that speer switched to the 165 to improve the expansion performance, the heavier HP allows a deeper HP, improving performance vice the 4-layer denim test.

Yeah, good thing too. Never know when a guy in 4 layers of denim is gonna come for you.

DoubleTap sells ammo loaded with either.
