Not sure many go to the Ruger section, plus this is a revolver so-have a look,$495 plus tax,did a trade and got 50rds of .357 and 200 of .38

Shoots pretty dang good single or double action, this was at around 7 to 8 yards 158gr LRN "plain vanilla" .38 special~I'd feel sorry if anything pissed me off carrying this, and yes I can do the same with .357 just not enough ammo to do so yet, recoil is not bad, like my .44 mag Superblackhawk I've had since I was 14

The Sp 101 is the only Ruger product that I have any interest in. I would not actively persue the purchase os an SP 101, but if I came across a deal, I would not hesitate to make the trade.
That is a fine looking example you have there. Congrats on your acquisition.

Congratulations !!! Nice revolver........................I just bought one too. Shot 125 grain Remington HPs in it for the first time today...............WOW !!! It has some stout recoil. Shooting .38 Specials is much easier on the hand. I am also impressed with the accuracy. Thanks for the photos..................

Just got a small five shot .357 and the first thing you shoot is the thermo nuke level ammo? what are you? crazy???

Well I should talk, the 158gr SP .357 I bought will make you wake up and go HOT DAMN! when you squeeze one off! it's fun though

I really,really think the 3in SP-101 is a grand trail pistol,small and lite yet powerful,a great combo.

YEP!!!.......I am crazy....................... Luckily I do not believe it would take too many 125 grain .357 magnums to make a bad guy be a good guy..............

Very nice handgun.  I traded a GP100 for an SP101 and absolutely love it.

Buying my SP101 in the 2 1/4" barrel and not the 3 1/16" is one of those things I continue to kick myself over.

Enjoy the new piece, she's a beaut.

I like the shorter length barrel myself.
Try to practice atleast every other week with it if not every week.
Been shooting 158gr cast swc for the past 5 years in mine.

I also have the 3" except it's the 9mm version.  It's my woods and field snake gun.
