It got here 10 days ago. Had the Gunner grips waiting for it, and put 'em on within 5 minutes of getting home. Only 100 rds down range so far (1 premature slidelock). The light just came in yesterday from Brightflashlights, very cool set up!

Nice, but.....7 rounds?

A dated platform, wouldn't you say?

Are you a 1911 snob now, I mean, we all know that Glock, Springfield and a dozen others have better offerings for wayyyyy less $$$$

J/K!!!!
It is awesome! I have always had a 1911 on my list.
BTW....Suncoast is this weekend in FM.....

Looks good, what Surefire light is that?

Thanks guys. The Surefire is an X200B model, and as had been suggested to me, seems the ideal light for house clearing etc. Since I'm a civilian, it wil become my night time home defense pistol.

I'm told the "A" model would be preferred for outdoor use (more concentrated spot, more range). This "B" model has more of a flood effect. It's about the same intensity as a G2 Nitrolon, but much whiter (due to the fact it's an LED).

Tomass, a Lady Kimber? Well, it's not pink ( ! Though I have seen pink Kimbers at the gun shows ! ). It's supposed to be desert tan I think (it's the Desert Warrior model). I kinda like it (but then my Micro Compact is OD Green too, to each our own.....).

Maybe I should have adjusted it a bit in Photo Shop, or at least posted a pic with a flash (like this one)

Nothing "Lady"ish about this gun.  I like it a lot.
