Well it's new to me anyways. It was about 6 months ago when I traded a way a great Glock 17. I have been Glockless since and kicking my self all the while for trqading the one I had away. Well after a while I decided I need to get a Glock again, and of course I had to go with the original G17! Except this time, I decided to go Old School. I took two weeks searching the auction site and found what I wanted. The Glock 17 I got is old, but seems to have been taken care of. The night sights are rather dim, but better than nothing. It has a two-letter serial number: KD8XX. It has the old Austrian proofs and all the numbers match. The slides finish is worn, but that tennifer finish is still there due to it being so tough. I got some standard cap mags ready for it to go! I can't wait to get to the range/out-of-the-way farmfield.

Old glocks are great, just like buying an old caddy(cadillac). It doesn't matter that it is used, it is still a Glock. Not to mention if you are happy with it why shouldn't you take pride in it.
