I highly recomend Mitch Rosen holsters and especially his Ayoob Rear Guard Model and its matching mag carrier. Each holster is hand boned. His stuff can seem a little pricey but it is well worth the money

Not to bring this back from the dead or anything, but I have question about these holsters. The Ayoob Rear Guard Model (renamed to American Rear Guard) looks like a quality piece. My question is what is the difference between the ARG, and the ARG Slim? And, is the ARG Slim worth the extra 55 dollars? Thanks in advance to anyone who answers.

I'm a little late coming to the party, but I think besides slimming the leather wrap on the outside of the holster, I believe all slimline holsters are lined. There isn't that roughness in the inside quite like the standard holster.

All of my Rosen holsters are lined (extra bucks ), but I haven't used them enough (I live in non CCW IL) to know if wear is less on the gun or draw is easier. Sure seems like the draw is slicker.

His stuff is very expensive though and the last couple years he has even discontinued some of the interchangeable loop stuff, etc. because he said making these accessories were more labor intensive and time consuming (read expensive) than he could deal with. He will still do them, though for a king's ransom.
