I carried a Sig P229DAK and loved it.  I still do for that matter.  I picked up an M&P Compact 9mm a little over a year ago.  I am now carrying it roughly 70-80% of the time.  I still think the SIG is a better shooter, but the M&P does very well and more than good enough to get the job done as long as I do mine.  Obviously it is lighter and easier to conceal.  All in all, I like the M&P very much.

I just picked up my first M&P recently. Not a 9c, but as a SIG/Glock guy for a long time, I really like the M&P. They're great pistols.

Bought my 9c in Aug. 08 and have worn it every day all day since.
about a month after i got it i went on a 6 week vacation putting 8000 + miles on it and it was never uncomfortable ever. The gun is accurate and the trigger is acceptable right out of the box. I prefer the magazine with the extension to the shorter one.

The M&P Compact is an excellent carry gun. I carry mine in a Comp-Tac CTAC.

I picked one up a few months ago, Im going to carry it along with a 19, not at the same time though. I love glocks but so far im a big fan of the m&p. They seem to have the same grip angle as a glock which is very important to me. I also like that the m&pc carries 2 more rounds over a 26 for almost the same size. that was a reason why I went with it. Im planning on ordering a comp tac for it.
But I have noticed if you limp wrist, it can jam. Thats the only thing I don't like about it.

I picked up the 9c for my wife as she found it comfortable to shoot, Heck, I end up carrying it more than she does, especially in the summer months when I want/need a lighter carry setup than my usual HK rig.

Very comfortable to carry and more importantly shoot accurately.

I've been carrying a 9c for about a month now. Great gun, easy to conceal, and very reliable. It ended up replacing my CZ P-01 due to the smaller size and better trigger. The only mod I've made to it is a set of Ameriglo Operator nightsights.
