Very nice, added a G26 to the stable for the Gf to use as her carry gun, she chose it over the 43 due to the extra capacity, she is going to really like this.

MagPul has them listed on their website for $15.95 PMAG 12 GL9

I may try one too!

I'm far from being a Magpul hater, but I don't get it why anyone would bother and buy an aftermarket mag for a Glock.
If Glocks would use AICS mags, it would be pretty obvious.
But what seems obvious imho, with all those gazillions of Glock users out on planet earth, even if only one out of two is buying only one MP mag to test it, they will probably earn more money than they did with all their other products together.

Almost makes me want a G26 lol

I always thought the grip was too small. The M&P compact seemed like the best size to me, but I ended up with a Glock 19 nd am very happy. But this magazine would basically give the G26 the same size and capacity as the M&P9c

ETA: I already have a G43 as my small gun, so I need the G26 to fill the gap. Then a 17, 17L and a 34

Dont get why people look for aftermarket mags, when glock mags are everywhere.

Why even take a chance of them not working  as good as real glock mags. I could see if glock mags weren't available.

To me, these seem more polished and thought out than the standard 10 round Glock mag with the +2 extension on it, which is what I mainly use in my 26. I've just never gotten a good feeling about that mag setup. The +2 extension just feels cheap IMO.

These just appear to be designed from the start to be 12 rounders, and the molded in finger rest looks nice. I get mine tomorrow, so I'll see if they work as nice as they look to be in pictures.

Because they are far less expensive than factory glock mags with the +2 extension.  Just because one buys them does not mean that one has to use them in a carry scenario.  They can be used for range/training purposes and take the beating, sparing your carry mags.  They're $15.  Factory Glock mags with the +2 are $25-30.  For a 2 to 1 cost, I'll certainly buy a few for kicks and giggles.

I don't understand why people afraid to carry Glock Pmags because $15 is just too cheap when we all run AR15 Pmags that are only $10.

I only have two factory Glock magazines, which I keep my carry ammo in and never use. I have lots of Pmags and use them at the range full time and I've never had a problem with them. I use two of them most of the time; these two probably have about 500 rounds through them each.

I've seen and had countless mp glock (and ak) mags have the same issue over time, the followers get stuck and bullets get hung up

I don't know if it's just small amounts of grim getting in, but I can tell that the polymers seems to drag quite a bit

I went in to work late this morning, and happened to catch the FedEx truck before I left.

Opened up one of the mags and loaded it up. It's shorter than the factory +2 mag, which I wasn't expecting. I really like that its shorter, even though its not a huge difference, its enough to help with carry. Still long enough to get a full grip on though.

Assuming they work as well as the 19 mags, these will be very, very nice.

It's not like reliable magazines are difficult to make.

It's as if people think you're literally going to die if you use an aftermarket mag, because Glock mags are perfect and aftermarket mags jam every time.

Glock mags are $25 ea, and ETS/Magpul mags are half that. If you are the kind of person that has like 3 magazines, then yeah, who cares, but when you have like 50 it makes a difference...

Yep, just tried it. Full and empty both drop free.

I asked in the magpul forum and didn't see it posted here

It is a 12 round magazine, not a 10 round with +2 so you can't change the floor plate and make it flush fit.

When I get a G26, I'll pick a few of these up.

I've have very good experience with the Magpul Glock 17 & 19 and the 21 rnd mags.

Ill give it a try. But none of my magpul g17 mags lock the slide back properly. Also the spring feels weaker than oem or ets.

To be fair my slide wont lock back on the last shot with an oem g26 mag with a pearce +2 either. Regarding my pmags though did I get a bad batch?

Could be, the springs on all mine (magpul 19s, the 21 rounders, and now these 12 rounders) seem pretty stout, getting those last rounds in is tough. I don't think I've had any issues with the slide not locking back.

Did have an issue with the 19s one day having extract issues, but the mags had been dropped in the dirt all day and were pretty filthy. Soon as I cleared the dirt off the tops the extract issues went away.

The 12th round is TIGHT to get in, but I did get it in.

Now, with the 21 round mags I got, I cannot get more than 20 in those.

I think they'll loosen up over time some. I've had the same issue with factory Glock mags before too when they were new.

I wouldn't mind getting one but I guess I am one of those people who only like to get Glock factory mags. Glock mags are cheap now and have seen many dealers selling them for $18.00 a piece. Granted they don't have the extension which is nice but for another $6-7.00, I can get the extensions for them. I am not trashing MP mags as I have a bunch for my ar-15 but they are a different magazine all together and have had splitting issues. Granted they may work fine and not have a lick of trouble but Glock mags have a metal liner. I always believe in practicing with what you carry, no matter what you use.

Aint that its cheap....its why bother when the real mags are all over and a few bucks more... Also why why run different mags at the range then what you carry.

I like running aftermarket mags and shooting steel cased ammo so busy bodies at the range can tell me not to.  It seems to help them feel like they are doing something useful.

I have used the Magpul and ETS mags in my G17.2 and had no issue except I sometimes pinch my fingers when loading the Magpul.

I have three sitting in my ammo can for rigorous testing this morning when the range opens up. I just got to run 50 rounds through one earlier last week.

I can fit 12, but it's so tight it won't strip the top around reliably.

So I tested all four of the magazines that I have currently, I bought another one at the gun range.

You can load them with 12, but they malfunction and prohibit the slide from going back, so you have to download them to 11.

Otherwise, they're flawless. Everything functions normally.

I put some rounds through mine today, function was great, but I was only loading to 10 rounds (a habit I have of only loading rounds out of a box in even rows) and didn't think to try it fully loaded, so I don't know if I'll have the same issue as the above poster. I did go ahead and download the ones I have by one to 11 for now for carry use.

I got a few G26 mags and 2 G21 mags and went to the range today.
I decided to test out one of each mag and put about 100 rounds through them total
The mags were loaded with 10 and 20 rounds each.
The PMAG 21 worked fine.
The PMAG 12s are looser fitting than factory Glock mags.

Loading became a problem with the PMAG 12. With the slide locked back, it would not go forward with the PMAG 12 but worked fine with the 21.

After getting back from the range I then took an OEM Glock 12 round mag and the PMAG 12 to see how the gun ran with empty mags.
With the PMAG 12 I repeatedly had  the slide lock not engage when using an empty mag. I did not have the same problem with the OEM mag.
I then tried this with another empty PMAG 12 and had the same problem with the slide not locking back.

The PMAG 12s I used have  9/16 and 10/16 (also the one used at the range) date codes.

I also bought one of these for my 26 plus one of the extended 21 round mags to carry as a backup. Today was the first chance I had to test them. Both worked fine with no issues but I could only get 11 and 20 rounds loaded in them as others reported.
