Hi all.
Any idea when these magazines came out and what the purpose of the cut is? I got them for Christmass, but have not tried them yet. Besides the cut, everything else looks the same.

The "cuts" are for the "SF" models introduced last year. They will work just fine in the older(non-"SF") Glocks....

Notice that his mags are 9mm.
I too recently acquired some similar magazines. I guess that means Glock is planning to intrduce SF variants across their model line, eventually. |

cuts are for the ambi-mag releases on glocks...its just that they havent released any for the small bores yet
SF= "short frame" i believe (or was it 'slim'...) |

They are the new 5th generation Glock magazines. Besides the ambi catch slot in the front, the back of the feed lip area is a bit different as well. i just picked up a few for my G-23.

LOL If you labeled every little mod/change Glock did to the mags over the years we would be on generation 4,762,945 or was it 4,762,946?
