I'll be ordering my second FCD plate today from... somewhere. First one I got used off ebay, sorry.
Wife liked shooting my G20 with the RMR so much we traded in a couple rarely used guns for a G34 and I'm putting an SRO on it. The recommended ameriglo sights for use with the RMR on my G20 are perfect. Any recommendations for blacked out sights to use with an SRO? |

For SRO, GL-811, anything with 0.365 front sight or taller.

What screws are you using? The 6-32x3/8 screws we ship with the plate don't have thread locker applied.
I only want to know because if you're using Holosun screws, be sure to use the short set of screws the sight came with, or you can bend the plate. |

View Quote Duffy, My plate was sourced on the secondary market. I will be mounting a Holosun 407C, using the Holosun short screws as you stated. I have an order delivering tomorrow from you with both plate to slide screws and also RMR to plate screws in case I feel foggy and want to swap sights. ![]() All hardware that came with the plate is getting shit canned. And thank you for the concern, at times I need all the help I can get. |

Keep the screws we send with the plate in case you get an RMR, RMR HD or RCR one day

@Duffy
Humor me if you will? Just to be sure I'm on the correct path.. I'll be mounting a Holosun 407C on a G17 MOS, using your OPF-G, RMR plate. I will be using the shorter screws that came with my Holosun to mount the optic to the plate. My inbound order consists of: ![]() I plan to mount the plate to the slide with the M3 0.5 X 6MM screws, keeping the RMR to MOS screws as spares in the event that I switch optics at a later time. Sound accurate? |

Yep that works. M3 screws for plate to slide, those are the MOS footprint plate to slide thread pitch.
The 6-32 x 3/8 screws work with RMR, RMR HD and SRO, you can't use these on Holosun sights that have a 90 degrees countersink. RMR and SRO use 82 degrees, inch pattern countersink angle for the flat head screws. |

Thanks for including that. ![]() |

RMR HD and RCR both aced the tactical DQ test, OPF-G, RMR plate holds both securely before the screws go in.
My conversation with Trijion evolved around the capstan screws and plates compatibility, two thread pitches will be included (6-32 and 6-40), RCR will be an issue for some of our plates that require very long screws, such as FN 509 RMR and P320 RMR plates. RMR HD installs just like any RMR and SRO. Once we had the engineering samples, the fit with our Glock plates was the first thing we checked, we hoped when Trijicon said RMR footprint, they would actually hold all of its dimensions, and they do. Next we looked at the supplied 6-32 capstan screws to make sure they don't stick out of the plate (didn't expect them to), they don't. Lastly we tested the samples on a bunch of Glocks in order to determine which heights of sights will work. To my surprise, RCR's window opening is slightly higher than both SRO and RMR HD, sights that would be adequate for co-witnessing will be too low for RCR. ![]() ![]() |

If T-Rex is getting them, others are as well, or not far behind. I have several RCR and RMR HD ordered, we need to stock up on tall sights in the mean time

For RMR HD, front sight height of 0.4 and over will work well, can be as low as 0.365 but it's very low in the window.

Looking to pick up a G26 MOS in the next couple of weeks. I’m guessing the plate for the RMR is the same for the G19? Thanks! |

I'd say so, it's the same plate as G17, 19, 34, 45, 47, etc. based on the width of the slide. We'll be getting one to test.

ACRO can use a stand off device to protect its nearly flush front lens, Tangodown makes one called Lens Guard. RMR doesn't need a fence in front of it, its lens is already recessed and protected.

Work in progress, since this is a frequently asked question, we made a chart.
If you don't see the RDS or sight heights, we either don't support it, carry it, or both. ![]() |

|
|
It's for sight sets consisting of front and rear, we don't know what built in rear sights some RDS come with, and would prefer if they didn't come with any. Romeo2 has a built in rear sight, I wish it weren't there, it can easily mislead users into using a front sight height that's incorrect for the rear sight.
|
|
|
That’s what I was wondering. You would think they would sell a correct height front sight for it so that you don’t have two rear sights.
