Have any of you had problems using longer mags like from a G17 in a baby Glock
like the G26?  Is there a concern in causing a malf by inserting a longer mag in the
gun? Thanks for any help you can give me from those that have used the longer mags.

I've never had a problem using factory G19 mags in mine.  For carry, I sometimes use these A&G grip extensions from www.lonewolfdist.com:

Should be able to use any 9mm mag in the G26. I have used one of the Shirer (sp) aftermarket 33rd mags with no problems. I tired to make it  jam with 33rds of mixed Winchester 115gr, 124gr, and 147gr. Shot it with one hand and with a loose grip still with no jams.

No problems as long as it's factory: the mags you're using.

It good, lets's say if you have a 17, 19 and 26. All of the spares can be a 17 or 18 mag, that way regardless which model you have, the spare will work in it.

It would suck if you had a 19 mag and carried a 17!

Thanks for the quick replys.  I know there are some guns that don't recommend using a
longer magazine unless you have a spacer so you don't  jam the mag in too far.
I would just like to have a larger cap mag as an ammo reserve at times for the G26.

I have never had a problem with my 17 mags in the 26.  At the range I have even used a 18 mag in it, looks a bit odd but still works.

My off duty/back up is a Glock 26.  I have used 10, 12 (10+2), 15, 17 and 31 round mags.  They all work great.  All mags are factory Glock mags.
