I'm looking for a light on my next handgun.  It's likely to be a springfield xd-9.  I would also like something that can fit on my walther p-22. (Weaver rail i think.)

Does the m3 fit the bill? I'm not sure how adapters work...

I believe the Walther and SA use the same rail, but check on that first. Pretty much HK is the only one currently with a proprietary rail system.

M3s are ok. They work, IMHO, but I prefer Surefire. Its a tougher light. Whatever suits your budget best--you'll likely not notice a difference.

Surefire X200 is the best, IMO.

LED light, so it's much tougher.

I have both the A and B models, and prefer the more diffuse beam of the B model

What's the cost on those?

Don't forget about: www.springfield-armory.com/prod-xdpstl-xml.shtml

I'm probably gonna get one of those for my P99 down the road.
