I'm looking for an inexpensive way to attach a G2 to a handgun without rails. I'd prefer to use one of my 1911s, but a Hi-Power or 92 would be acceptable. The only thing I've found is a Surefire product that attaches to the trigger guard for a couple hundred bucks. If I'm going to spend that much cash, I'll just buy a new gun with rails.

On my 12ga, I was able to use an inexpensive mag extender clamp, and I'm looking for a similar solution here.

I think a G2 mounted to a handgun would be a bit too big. It would better to just hold it in your weak-hand using one of the many techniques being taught today that feels most comfortable to you.
