I haven't had any problems with LRN and LSWC through mine. Typically I will shoot a magazines worth of factory FMJ afterwards, with out any ill effects, to clean out the barrel.

Some 1911s without a good throat job will have problems with LSWC or TC.

200, 220, or 230 LRN will run in almost all of them.

Bore cleaning isn't too much of an issue, due to the low velocity.

Been shooting 230 gr lead round nose for many years in the 830-870 fps range.  Be sure to get a quality hard cast bullet and you will be fine.  I also shoot a magazine of FMJ to clean out any lead traces.

I accidently bought a 500rd box of 230gr LRN and decided to give it a shot in my 1911 and I found it works fine. I am getting around 850fps with no leading problems.
